hello! I want my 1.2 GB large mpg files split or divide into smaller pieces so that I do with my video editing program can edit!
What options are there? user-friendly and free ;-)

because my problem is if I take this 1.2 GB large files into the editing program to import, missing scenes ... I think that just because my memory is 1gb, the car he cuts out 200MB ... so I will split the file. ..

Normally the file is not read into memory. I do 15GB large files with 2 GB Ram.
Are the scenes if you put the file in media player?

yes yes this is the funny! I import the files of my dvd on my computer, with the vlc player, windows-media-player and all the other files can be wonderfully and play without any problems and of all the scenes are there ... but when I change the files into my editing program there are missing scenes! synonymous not know what I should :-(!!!!!

If there is a video DVD is, there may only files up to 1 GB Max. Larger files when creating a DVD in small to 1GB Max shared.

I have taken with a Sony dvd camera at and on a dvd-rw and dvd + rw on, then adjust each up 1.4 GB ...

When the editing program used (? Possible) is free, it has possibly the usual limits.

missing scenes ... not just pictures, it was synonymous already covered, which is the soundtrack has moved ... but it is missing parts mainly in the middle ... so it does not simply cut the scenes out last!
