Unfortunately, my film material but not 16:9, but that's not so bad ... or I could still change??
But my real question is:
what settings do I need to set the export to dvd?? da gibts so many different PAL versions in some way with cbr and vbr and progressive-frame rate, etc. ..
need help! ;)

1 / Mistaken 16:9 settings
Yes, you can use the current Project of UN agencies to 16:9 or 4:3. It will be lost to preview files. No problem, because you can re-create easily.
However, imported stills / titles can be problems, but not necessarily. Ggf. the still images / titles after switching to reimport.
The move comes s.einfachsten by loading a preset file, for example, 4:3 DV PAL 48 kHz instead of standard DV PAL Widescreen 48 kHz (or whatever the hot for you)
2 / MPEG settings for the export
The easiest way is to take a preference file from the MPEG encoder. You can modify individual points (one at a time) later, after studying the manual and the forums. Here again write the manual, it is (something to me) much effort ;-)
Good luck
