All directors / editors and animated grafic artists I know are used for cutting AVID or Final Cut Pro. Of course, Adobe AE, but with hardly any cuts Premiere Pro (synonymous's of course if you could - I like Premiere).

Schneiden do them all! Avid was the end of the 90s a nice system, Adobe and Sony products were not yet ready. Avid has had it easier to establish. My Avid is too laborious and I think it can be just as beautiful, perhaps even better cuts and effects from Adobe or Vegas to get software (After Effects of course included).
The Page of Andrew Kremer at least is a good example of how Adobe is working with a professional. Although the new Premiere - CS3 is a misstep, it has to be synonymous say. Final Cut Pro, I do not know, but I think Mac only, right?

2005 I had to get liquid, because almost no other program on the market, which could cut HDV.

Studio 11, I have now the beginning of s.vollkommen intuitively. I could immediately losarbeiten and earned (for my needs as an aspiring amateur) top results. The functionality of surprised me really. I knew nothing at the moment, what I miss functionally opposite Liquid wüde.
So that is my personal view, and again before I would be torn, because I of Liquid Studio changed to bin: Who Liquid may be so happy. Since I am totally dispassionate. My personal decision I made.

Designer coffee table and decided to expand functions of CS2. Somehow they have to yes, users will bring Encore Ultra2 and to use. In CS4, they will then probably return to the old install and function as a new market. Too much people complain about Premiere CS3. DVD movies with menus are just as troublesome as Ultra2, because it is a stand-alone.

As far as I am aware, Premiere Pro 2.0 would be more inappropriate, because it's in slow motion no really beautiful intermediate images can be calculated. Because CS3 is better, although the DVD export is quite annoying.
