Hello Together,
I am just about to my Windows Calculator on a current iMac replaced.
Now I'm just thinking about this, which is now iMac s.besten suitable for my needs. For Choice are:
27 "iMac with Core Dua 3.06 Mhz with the ATI 4670 and 4 GB of RAM or
27 "iMac with 2.66 Mhz Quad Core with the ATI 4850 and 4 GB of RAM
I would like to cut my MPEG 2 videos and zukünfitg my AVCHD videos (Sony or Panasonic camcorder camcorder Canon camcorder or editing) with the iMac, and set to music at the highest possible Resolutionauf DVD burn Connect to enjoy them on your DVD Player.
I would also like to archive my digital photos, edit and intercutting a Stillimage DVD. Of course, including various transitions, soundtrack and beschriftung of the images (scrolling text during DVD playback)
Enough for these claims of "small" Core Duo iMac with the lesser graphics card, or should I take the Euro 300.00 additionally in hand and buy the Quad Core i5 with the larger graphics card.

So you can see a full-HD movie is not full frame, without adding to it. Thus, purely from a gut level, I would confine myself to the 21-inch model, so that when full-screen playback of each pixel remains s.seinem place.

Thank you for the tip, because I had already thought synonymous. After long deliberation synonymous in the light of my image editing needs, but I will take up the 27 "model.

So most of the relevant Programs will benefit from the additional two cores. Twice the memory of the graphics card probably synonymous. Everything is functioning pretty well synonymous only just slower on a dual-core. ;)

for the private space of the core duo should be sufficient for all cases. quad core is nice to play with, rendering in 3D, layer effect on many. but probably not worth its money for the little man.
pity that it is the 24''model is no longer there, I am satisfied with my super.

In times like AVCHD and co - quite clearly the iMac Core i7 with 27 inches!
It even cuts "are not only s.Film, or to edit pictures, some coded something in Hintrgrung ...
And that the 27 "it has no native HD Resolutionhat is indeed synonymous not tragic, one can watch the movie to 100% - and na?
And the software house will follow on multicore processes!

So great is the price difference to the i5, and even the dual core does not, in relation to the total price. The graphics card is in Comparison to dual-core probably synonymous significantly better.
Or at least the i5, but with 8GB of RAM.
Currently, very little software that support multi-core processors right, but it will certainly come in the next versions and then the performance edge with one i7 will surely be clearer.

So the step Core2Duo -> i5 is definitely recommended .... because of better processor, better graphics card .... (all noticeably better!) ... the step to the i7 not, I think, because the performance is probably not so great ... but a disproportionate 180 ¬ more away .... it would rather buy memory ....
Oh yes .... If you buy a Mac with Studentenrabat does all synonymous less painful ...:)
