Hello!
I am contemplating an iMac zuzulegen. Now, the question of which is for the DV editing with AVCHD material suitable?
Must it be a 27 "i7? Or is synonymous for a Core2Duo 2.66 GHz? So either a 21.5" or just the "little" 27 "he?
Or is synonymous even a 24 "from the last generation? They've synonymous a Core2Duo in there, with 2.66 to 3.06 GHz or something, right?
I edit AVCHD material, which should be usable liquid;)

Wrong question. Or ProRes - stab at fce and iMovie - Apple Intermediate need. AVCHD will never be edited directly, including synonymous, it is increasingly transformed into one of these codecs.

I personally would take the 27 "+ external monitor + Final Cut Express
CPU of your choice, significant difference when rendering

You're talking about the display s.IMAC 27? This is now actually not bad and not very cheap! And the problems have been fixed with software updates ..... was therefore probably not a hardware problem!
