To process the F-Log material of the new Fuji X-T4, there was no official LUT available until now, but this was not a limitation, as the LUTs for the X-T3 can also be used due to the identical sensor design. With the recently available 3D LUT for F-Log version 1.3 there is now an implementation especially for the X-T4, which contains a fourth LUT besides Eterna, Wide Dynamic Range and Flog -- Eterna Bleach Bypass.
Bleach Bypass simulates a look that could have been given to the analog film material by a special procedure during development, and is included in the X-T4 as a color profile for the first time. With the new 3D-LUT the simulation can now be combined with F-Log.
As far as we could see during a short check, the 3 classic LUTs do not differ from the X-T3. Whether X-T3 filmmakers can now also indirectly access the new film simulation via the Eterna Bleach Bypass LUT of the X-T4, we have not yet tested (theoretically this should work).
