And another 27" 4K UltraHD monitor that meets professional demands when working with video: Acer&s new BM270 monitor has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, local dimming using 384 zones, HDR support, 10-bit color depth and 100% coverage of AdobeRGB as well as the Rec.709/sRGB color space and 97.3% of the DCI-P3 color space ( here our basic article on color spaces). In addition, the IPS panel is factory calibrated with a very good Delta E value of <1. 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles are common.

With Acer&s ErgoStand, the user can tilt the monitor +/- 20 degrees, -5 to 20 degrees and adjust its height by approximately 11cm. The Acer ProDesigner BM270 can also be wall-mounted with the supplied VESA bracket. Acer VisionCare uses Acer Flicker-less, BlueLightShield, Low Dimming and ComfyView technologies to provide ergonomic images by reducing flicker and blue light.

The Acer BM270 comes with two HDMI 2.0, a DisplayPort 1.2 and a Mini DisplayPort 1.2 as well as a USB 3.1 hub. The Acer BM270 is expected to cost around 1,700. A light protection hood made of non-reflecting material is supplied to minimise the incidence of light from above and the sides and thus reduce disturbing reflections.
