Adobe has announced that it will discontinue the development of its tool for organizing raw video material and will no longer make it available for download as an up-to-date app as of September 8. This will not affect existing users for the time being - the tool can still be used, but technical support will end on September 8, 2024. ![]()

For those who haven&t installed Prelude yet but still want to try it out, you can still do so: Prelude remains selectable and downloadable via Creative Cloud Desktop under the "Show Older Apps" menu item. As a replacement for Prelude, Adobe recommends users consolidate their preproduction workflow using Premiere Pro, which supports camera media ingest and marker workflows for basic logging. The sometimes necessary transcoding of camera footage can be done via Adobe Media Encoder. Adobe&s statement, however, gives hope that Premiere Pro could get new ingest, media organization and workflow features in the future. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Adobe stellt Medienorganisations-Tool Prelude ein |
