And another ultra-bright 5,200W LED spotlight: Aputure STORM XT52

Following the Nanlux Evoke 5000B, lighting specialist Aputure has now announced the STORM XT52, a 5000W-class LED spotlight. Aputure touts the STORM XT52, whose brightness is said to rival some 9000-watt HMIs, as the brightest COB spotlight on the market.
Developed in collaboration with Prolycht, the STORM XT52 utilizes Aputure&s BLAIR light module, first used in the Aputure STORM 1200X. It delivers a CCT range of 2,500-10,000K through a combination of blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red LEDs (BLAIR = Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red). Unlike widely used RGBWW lights, the new module contains no white LEDs; instead, it produces white light by mixing the other colors—similar to the sun—and is said to achieve higher brightness than before.

In addition to its wide CCT (Color Correlated Temperature) spectrum coverage, the BLAIR module is said to offer detailed green control, allowing for fine adjustment of color temperature and precise control over light color.
The extremely high power consumption of 5,200 watts naturally results in very high light output. The Aputure STORM XT52 LED spotlight achieves a brightness of up to 48,000 lux (measured at 5 m distance) with a 35° reflector and up to 29,000 lux with a 50° reflector. Furthermore, the STORM XT52 can be dimmed from full power down to 0.01%.
