At the CES 2020, Asus presented two new monitors from its ProArt model series, which are aimed entirely at the needs of professional users. The two new ProArt displays, the PA248QV and PA278QV, are factory calibrated to deliver high color accuracy with an average Delta E value of < 2 and 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 color space coverage.
Asus has equipped the new displays with special functions such as ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette with six-axis color, black level and brightness adjustments to quickly and easily achieve a desired look.
The 27" ProArt Display PA278QV offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a wide aspect ratio, while the 24.1" ProArt Display PA248QV has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 and an aspect ratio of 16:10. Both displays have very narrow side and top frames, which allow almost seamless multi-monitor setups.
Each monitor has a USB 3.0 hub for connecting high-speed storage devices and other accessories. The ProArt Display PA278QV is equipped with DisplayPort 1.2, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI 1.4 and dual-link DVI-D connectors, while the ProArtDisplayPA248QV features DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and older D-Sub ports.
