In addition to the ZenScreen MB16ACE, Asus is presenting another mobile second monitor for notebooks at the CES 2020. The ROG Strix XG17AHP is a 17.3" display with FullHD IPS panel and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz.
The Asus ROG Strix XG17AHP is definitely better equipped than most portable second monitors: it can not only be supplied with power and pictures simultaneously via USB-C, but also offers the possibility to operate without direct power for about 3 hours via the built-in battery. In addition, its interface equipment is very broadly diversified, offering not only a USB-C (or a DisplayPort in alternate mode), another USB-C port for charging (also during operation via USB-C) but also a micro-HDMI 2.0 port for older PCs without USB-C.

In addition to the Smart Cover, the display can also be set up using the optional folding tripod stand. This also allows the height and angle of the monitor to be adjusted, allowing it to be used as a traditional desktop monitor. VESA Adaptive-Sync allows the refresh rate to be adjusted between 48Hz and 240Hz depending on the GPU output. Not yet clear are price, exact technical data and release date of the ROG Strix XG17AHP - but depending on the price, the XG17AHP could be interesting for mobile working with video.
