Asus has updated two of its notebook models – the Zenbook Duo and the Zenbook 14 – with the latest Intel Arrow Lake H processors. Both boast significant computing power thanks to the new Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processor, but the Duo model is particularly interesting for mobile video editing. It features two 14" 3K OLED displays, providing an exceptional amount of desktop space for a notebook – for example, a fullscreen preview window and the program interface including the timeline for a video editing program. However, the very lightweight design (1.65 kg with keyboard) comes at a price: Asus has omitted a separate GPU – users must make do with the Intel Arc GPU integrated into the processor.
;) Asus Zenbook DUO Asus Zenbook DUOOver time, Asus has evolved the Zenbook Duo&s second display from a small 5.5" touchpad, to a wide ScreenPad Plus above the keyboard, and finally to a full-fledged second screen. The two 14" 3K OLED 120 Hz displays, thanks to the detachable keyboard, can be used either stacked vertically or side-by-side (effectively creating a 19.8" screen). ;) Asus Zenbook DUO The Zenbook DUO (UX8406CA) offers, in its maximum configuration, an Intel Core Ultra 9-processor from the latest Series 2 (Intel Arrow Lake H) with 16 cores and an integrated GPU. Further features include – depending on the choice – up to 32 GB LPDDR5x memory and a PCIe® 4.0 SSD with up to 2 TB. Interfaces include 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort support, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, and an HDMI 2.1 port. Prices start at €2,099 for the lowest configuration. ;) Asus Zenbook 14 Zenbook 14The Zenbook 14 (UX3405CA) features – traditionally – only one OLED display and is therefore somewhat lighter and even thinner (14.9 mm) – with a battery life of up to 18 hours. The updated model uses an Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) i7/i9 processor with integrated Intel Arc GPU. Up to 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD are possible. The interface selection is identical to that of the Duo model: 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort support, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, and an HDMI 2.1 port.
