Atomos has released the firmware update 11.02.00 for its Shinobi II monitor with exciting new features and more camera support for free download. Now implemented and already briefly tested by us is the new Touch to Focus function. This means that the Shinobi II monitor can now be used like a camera touch display for AF positioning and activation. We have just tried it out briefly on the Panasonic S5IIX and it works pleasantly responsively - both in continuous and single focus mode. Atomos Shinobi II The 11.02.00 update also adds support for Camera Control on other Nikon and Fujifilm cameras. Specifically, this includes the following newly added cameras: The cameras marked with an asterisk now also support the Touch to Focus function. The following cameras are currently supported with Touch to Focus: -Canon EOS R6 Mark II -Fujifilm GFX100 II -Fujifilm X-S20 -Nikon Z9 -Panasonic LUMIX S5 II -Panasonic LUMIX S5 II X -Sony A7 IV -Sony A7S III -Sony ZV-E10 II The full list of cameras supported with Camera Conitrol can be found at here. ARRi False Colour and the EL ZONE exposure system, which can be stepped through in the Falsecolor options, were also introduced with the 11.02.00 firmware update of the Shinobi II.
