Avid Media Composer 8.3 update brings 4K and DNxHR

Avid has the IBC 2014 angekuendigte update for the Media Composer 8.3 now posted. It not only brings native support UltraHD / 4K, but also the new DNxHR codec, which just such resolutions available are higher than FullHD (ie, 2K, and UHD 4K - but not 8K) supported. The DNxHR codec family comprises several different versions (DNxHR LB / SQ / HQ / HQX / 444) for each different Requirements for the relation between image quality and memory requirements.
