BenQ now delivers the professional 27-inch (68.58 cm) SW271. The SW271 is the smaller brother of the 
32" monitor SW320 presented by BenQ in December 2016. Its 10-bit IPS panel also has a brightness of 350 nits with a contrast of 1,000:1, an UltraHD 4K (3,840 x 2,160) resolution and covers 99% of the extended Adobe RGB color space, sRGB and Rec. 709 at 100% and DCI-P3 at 93%, HDR 10 is also supported.

The Palette Master Element Calibration Software can be used with a color calibrator to calibrate the SW271. The internal 14 Bit 3D Look-Up-Table (LUT) is used by the integrated tools for color calibration using a more accurate calibration tool (such as the X-Rite i1 Display Pro / i1 Pro / i1 Pro / i1 Pro 2 or Datacolor Spyder 4/5?).
The SW271 has two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 and also a USB-C port, but it does support USB 3.1 Gen2 (but according to technical data only with a maximum of 5 Gbps stat 10 Gbps) and not Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gbps) - but it should also be able to be used for the connection of a 4K monitor. Two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, a headphone jack and an integrated SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader are also on board.

A hotkey puck, a wired OSD remote control, can be used to switch between different color spaces. With the help of the puck, however, other user-adjustable parameters such as brightness or contrast can also be easily called up or changed. The GamutDuo function allows you to view images from one or two different sources simultaneously in two different color spaces (PiP/PbP).

The monitor's color temperature sensor for ambient light automatically adapts the monitor's colors to the respective conditions using Color Display Clone software. The BenQ SE271 can also be turned upside down by pivot.
