Just under a week after the last beta version 8 and only two weeks after the beta 7, Blackmagic has already released another new beta version of Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve (Studio) 14. The Beta 9 brings among other things: navigation via JKL keys - single frames can be controlled or the timeline can be played back at half speed; improvement of the video playback in the Fairlight workspace and the possibility to move tracks up and down; in the Media Pool there is a new column with audio codecs and new settings for configuring the Fairlight Audio Accelerator are available.
In addition, up to 8 faders for Mac and Windows are supported on third-party sound mixers using the HUI protocol. This update also improves the playback of Sony RAW and CinemaDNG clips, improves overall performance and stability, and fixes the "hop" in some Quicktime video playback. (Thanks to Henry and X)
