Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Monitor HD und DeckLink Mini Recorder HD

Blackmagic Design today announced two new additions to its Decklink line of PCIe recording and playback cards with 3G-SDI and HDMI connectors, the DeckLink Mini Monitor HD and DeckLink Mini Recorder HD. These revamped new 3G-SDI models replace the previous 1.5G-SDI models, but cost less than them and support video formats up to 1080p/60 and 2Kp/60 DCI, as well as modern color spaces such as Rec. 2020 for wider dynamic range.

The DeckLink Mini Recorder HD and DeckLink Mini Monitor HD enable recording and playback of both uncompressed and compressed video formats with 10-bit SD and HD quality, delivering broadcast-quality 10-bit YUV and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 for pixel-perfect recording and playback. The update adds new features such as support for video formats up to 1080p/60 and 2Kp/60 DCI, as well as wider color spaces, including Rec. 2020. In addition, RGB video formats are now supported.

The new DeckLink Mini HD models are low-profile, 1-lane Gen 2 PCI Express cards that can be installed in a desktop or rack-based computer using the included low-profile and standard-height PCIe bezels. Recording can be done from VTRs, cameras and live video sources. Signals can be output to monitors, projectors, media servers, etc.

The DeckLink Mini Recorder HD allows users to record broadcast-quality video from 3G-SDI and HDMI sources using any PCIe-enabled computer. Users can record from virtually any SD or HD source such as HDCAM, D5, SDCAM, Digital Betacam and more. The DeckLink Mini Recorder HD also works with video streaming software such as OBS, allowing video to be recorded directly from cameras or live production mixers and that can be integrated into a live broadcast.

DeckLink Mini Monitor HD

The DeckLink Mini Monitor HD provides 3G-SDI and HDMI video playback from PCIe-enabled computers. This is suitable for instant playback via TV, video projector and live production mixer at up to 1080p/60. The playback images are pixel-perfect clones of the original file, making them ideal for monitoring critical content via with NLE software. The DeckLink Mini Monitor HD also supports the latest HDR formats.
