Blackmagic Design has announced a drastic price reduction for its cloud storage: from now on, 1 TB in the Blackmagic Cloud costs only per month, which represents a 50% reduction compared to the previous price of . Existing users will automatically benefit from the new price. According to Blackmagic, this price reduction was made possible by optimizations in the backend of the data centers. ;)
What is the Blackmagic Cloud?The Blackmagic Cloud is an online storage solution that enables seamless collaboration between DaVinci Resolve systems worldwide. Users can share their projects with editors, colorists, VFX artists, and sound engineers over the network, enabling a global workflow. In addition to integration with DaVinci Resolve, the Blackmagic Cloud is also compatible with Blackmagic&s latest cameras, such as the Cinema Camera 6K, URSA Cine, and URSA Broadcast G2, as well as the free Blackmagic Camera app for iPhone and Android. These devices can share their footage live using H.264-HD proxy files via the Blackmagic Cloud, allowing editing and color correction of the material in DaVinci Resolve to begin during filming.
