The open-source 3D modelling and animation package Blender continues to grow. In the new version 4.2 LTS, there are even quite relevant improvements for video editing that make you want to take a closer look at Blender again. Blender now also masters GPU compositing Also noteworthy is the progress made with the integrated sequencer, which has been significantly improved once again. This is a real video editing system that also resides in Blender - and can therefore naturally utilise many synergy effects with the other modules. Including, of course, with the Compositor. All the new features of the compositor and the video editing editor/sequencer are explained in the following video from 15:29: And here are all the new features of the Compositor in keyword form: - GPU acceleration can now be used for compositing - New timing overlay that shows the execution time of each node - Glare nodes: Bloom mode added - New node interpolation option to choose between Nearest, Bilinear and Bicubic - CPU performance optimisations - Glare nodes: Fog Glow up to 25x faster - Hue Correct: Supports wrapping to resolve discontinuity issues - The vector blur node now matches the motion blur of EEVEE - Viewport Compositor : The compositing area is now always limited to the camera area. - Viewport Compositor : Added support for Fog Glow Glare - Viewport Compositor : Added support for Legacy Cryptomatte - Viewport Compositor : Added support for Fast Gaussian Blur. As always, Blender 4.2 LTS is now available for Windows, macOS and Linux and as source code for free download. LTS stands for Long Term Support, which means that this version is guaranteed to be supported in its current functionality for the next 2 years. Which is why it is particularly recommended as a new basis for longer-term projects. more infos at bei www.blender.org deutsche Version dieser Seite: Blender 4.2 LTS - kostenloses 3D-Softwarepaket jetzt mit GPU-Compositor |
