Canon has just another VDSLR in the consumer segment, product group, unveiled the EOS, the EOS 550D. It has a 18MP sensor with advanced Empfendlichkeiten up to ISO 12,800. When the engine is already proven DIGIC4 processor is used (continuous shooting mode of up to 3.7 fps). The EOS 550D has 9 focus sensors, and a centrally positioned cross-type sensor. New in this price range of SLR cameras is the availability of 1080p video with full manual settings, as previously only the Canon EOS 5D MKII, EOS 7D and EOS 1D Mark IV is available (30.25 and 24 fps). New in this segment is also the auto-ISO function. The Canon EOS 550D will be available from March to trade at a MSRP of 729, - Euro (body only) or with the following kits: EOS 550D with EF-S 18-55 IS for 829, - Euro and EOS 550D with EF-S 18-135 IS for 1029, - Euro. more infos at bei www.canon.de
