Canon has announced that it will launch special accessory kits for some of its DSLR and mirrorless camera systems so that they can be easily used as webcams. The kits include adapters and cables for specific Canon cameras About a year ago, Canon was one of the first camera manufacturers to release free EOS Webcam Utility Tools, which allows a whole range of Canon cameras, such as the EOS-1D/5D/6D/7D/R series, to be used as webcams. An EOS camera connected to the computer via USB is displayed as a USB camera using the EOS Webcam Utility and can then be used as an image source in corresponding livestreaming or video conferencing programs. Webcam Accessories Starter Kit for Canon EOS RP Canon will initially offer three different versions of its Webcam Accessories Starter Kits: one for the mirrorless camera EOS RP, one for the DSLR cameras EOS 1100D, 1300D and 2000D, and one for the mirrorless cameras EOS M50, M50 Mark II and M200. All kits include a USB cable for connecting the camera to the computer as well as a dummy battery including power supply for continuous operation of the camera via mains power. Canon EOS RP The kit for the EOS RP costs around 160 dollars, the other two around 90 dollars - they will be available from 25.3 in the USA - when and at what price Canon will also offer the webcam kits in this country is not yet clear. more infos at bei shop.usa.canon.com deutsche Version dieser Seite: Canon Zubehör-Kit für DSLRs und spiegellose Kameras als Webcams |
