Word of the iPhone 15 Pro&s remarkably "cinematic" film quality for a smartphone should have gotten around by now. This is one of the reasons why the components used here by Claudio Miranda (Blackmagic Camera App and iPhone 15 Pro) both feature in our  eight-camera best list 2023. However, it should also be clear by now: If you bring together not only a top DOP but also an excellent production designer and a comprehensive film crew, the result is usually a high-quality product, with the camera used in each case probably playing the least role.
