DJI has introduced new accessories for its Avata FPV drone: the DJI Goggles Integra goggles and the DJI RC Motion 2 remote control - both of which DJI is also offering right along with the Avata in new combo packs. DJI Goggles Integra Goggles and DJI RC Motion 2 DJI Goggles Integra. The new DJI Goggles Integra goggles for first-person avata control feature two 0.49" 1080p micro-OLED displays, very low latency of only 30ms at 1080p/100fps, and DJI&s O3+ video transmission system with a maximum range of 2km (in Europe) and a maximum of 50 Mbps. It is largely similar in technical specifications to the much more expensive Goggles 2. The battery offers - like the old one of the Goggles 2 - about two hours of operating time. Fortunately, the Goggles Integra can be used while the battery is charging. Just like the Goggles 2, the Integra Goggles feature two 1080p micro-OLED displays with a brightness of 700 nits and a maximum refresh rate of 100 Hz. However, the field of view of the new goggles is slightly smaller at 44° than that of the Goggles 2 at 51°. Live images can be recorded to microSD card in MP4 or MOV format (compressed as H.264 or H.265) with maximum 1080p resolution. DJI Goggles Integra Goggles. Using the DJI Fly app, users can also connect the DJI Goggles Integra to their smartphone, view a real-time camera view simultaneously on their DJI Goggles Integra and their smartphone, and even share the view with friends. The DJI Goggles Integra are available now at a price of 659 euros - for comparison, the Goggles 2 cost 849 euros. DJI RC Motion 2The new DJI RC Motion 2 is an improvement on the Avata&s original motion control unit. As with it, the drone can be flown intuitively per through control movements. The RC Motion 2 remote control has been upgraded with an improved control stick to include thrust button and reverse function, which support multi-directional flying (including vertical, reverse and sideways). This makes it easier to adjust direction or select a suitable landing site. Via FN dial, ISO, shutter speed and other camera parameters can also be quickly adjusted without the goggles. The DJI RC Motion 2 controller is available now at a price of 179 euros. New Avata Combos. The previous DJI Avata Pro-View Combo has been updated to include the DJI RC Motion 2 and now consists of the DJI Goggles 2, the DJI RC Motion 2 and the DJI Avata and is available for €1,459 (making the price a slight increase - previously the Pro-View Combo cost €1,429). New is the DJI Avata Explorer Combo, which consists of the new DJI Goggles Integra, DJI RC Motion 2 and the DJI Avata and costs 1,269 euros.
