Shortly after DJI introduced the Osmo Action 5 Pro action camera, the first firmware update (01.00.07.30) was already released, bringing a whole range of improvements and new features that significantly enhance the camera&s appeal. DJI seems to have not quite finished the firmware for the Osmo Action 5 Pro in time for launch, and is therefore catching up with some promised features - fortunately, this is happening very quickly after the release. DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Super Slow-MotionThe biggest new feature is probably the super slow-motion, which was actually already expected at launch since it had first been leaked and then even featured in DJI&s own promo clips. However, the new Super Slow-Motion function is not a "real" slow motion, meaning that footage is not actually recorded at a higher frame rate, but the slow motion is created after the recording through AI-based interpolation. It is available during playback if the original clip was recorded at 4K/2.7K/1080p in a 16:9 format with at least 100 frames per second and can generate slow-motion clips of up to 960 fps. The advantage of post-processed slow motion is that any part of a video can be slowed down by 10 times in hindsight, without the need to enable it during the recording. Up to six slow-motion clips can be created from a single recording, but beware: the slow-motion function does not work in the first and last seconds of a clip. The quality of this AI slow motion can be judged by everyone in the following clip, which also includes a comparison with the slow-motion function in Final Cut Pro. Higher Resolutions in SuperNight ModeAnother new feature is the ability to now also record videos in 1080p at 48/50/60fps in SuperNight mode, where the camera image is brightened even in very low-light environments using AI noise reduction algorithms. It&s now also possible to use the Osmo Action 5 as a webcam in video mode, which is quite a logical addition. The detailed list of changes can be found below. All Changes in Firmware 01.00.07.30- Support for recording 1080p 48/50/60fps videos in SuperNight mode has been added. - Color recovery function in D-Log M 10bit mode has been added. - The Super Slow-Motion feature has been added. Tap the snail icon during video playback to activate frame-by-frame analysis of the footage and create slow-motion videos with up to 960 frames per second. This feature is particularly well-suited for capturing breathtaking and exciting moments in fast-paced sports scenes. Super slow motion is only supported for 4K/2.7K/1080p 16:9 video material with a frame rate of at least 100 frames per second. - Additional support for Stabilization scenes for Daily and Sports is now available. The camera automatically applies optimal exposure strategies according to the selected scene. - Support for recording videos in webcam mode has been added. - Support for use with the multifunctional Osmo Action Charging Grip has been added. - Power consumption for 4K 120fps recording has been optimized. - Image quality has been optimized. - The logic for displaying depth and height has been optimized. - Several minor bugs were fixed. DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro: 13.5 Stops of Dynamic Range, Longer Battery Life, AI FeaturesThe DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro itself brings numerous improvements over the previous model. It features a 1/1.3" sensor with an improved pixel size of 2.4μm and a higher dynamic range of 13.5 stops. The new Osmo supports 4K recording in D-Log M with 10-bit as well as, for the first time, Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro The new chip, manufactured with 4nm technology, enables AI features such as subject centering and tracking, similar to gimbals. According to DJI, the camera detects the position of a subject and adjusts the composition so that the subject remains centered in every shot. This is achieved by cropping the frame, with a maximum resolution of 2.7K at 60p, and the camera then automatically moves this crop around the sensor as much as possible, similar to electronic image stabilization but even more aggressively. This subject centering feature seems to be less aimed at typical action cam POV shots and more at use as a "normal" camera. more infos at bei forum.dji.com deutsche Version dieser Seite: DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro bekommt Superzeitlupe mit 960 fps per KI |
