Once again Blackmagic provides a new update to the current beta version of DaVinci Resolve 18 for download. This software update officially adds support for the
![]() Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 18 Beta 5 - including Gyro Stabilizer Furthermore, the interaction of the Trim Editor with tools on the editing side is said to have been improved. There are also significant improvements in the audio area: Audio playback of nested timelines is said to work more reliably now and the latency when adjusting the audio level has been reduced. We also noticed a feature in this version that we are not sure has been around for a while: there is now support for a 10-bit preview under Windows and Linux even (only in the Studio version!) without a dedicated editing card (e.g. Decklink): In "Preferences", under "General", this can now be activated and, according to Blackmagic, this works with both AMD and Nvidia GPUs (with the latest driver as well as a 10-bit capable screen): ![]() Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 18 Beta 5 - 10 bit preview capability.
