With Dreamflare AI, the first paid film portal has just launched, exclusively showcasing AI-generated (short) films. Dreamflare targets both viewers interested in the latest AI films and creators of such films, offering them an engaged audience and a way to earn money for their work. Through a multi-step process, it is possible for AI creators to build a career, eventually becoming a Professional AI Creator with a minimum income of ,000 per year. ;)
Only Interactive: Spins and Flips Interestingly, Dreamflare does not offer any "normal" AI video clips; only "interactive" films are available. Users can choose between "Spins," which allow viewers to select one of two branching storylines at certain points, and "Flips," a clickable comic format consisting of images, a few seconds of video clips, audio, and animated speech bubbles. Both formats are unique selling points, distinguishing Dreamflare from traditional video portals. The "Spins" are reminiscent of an interactive experiment by Netflix in 2018, Bandersnatch, a special project of the popular dystopian sci-fi series Black Mirror. Dreamflare was founded by former Google manager Josh Liss and professional filmmaker Rob Bralver, who secured 1.65 million in a pre-seed round. To present attractive content at launch, Dreamflare paid a number of well-known AI creators, who will also receive a share of the subscription revenue and the opportunity to raise additional funds through fan crowdfunding. This incentivizes creators to bring their often large social media followings to Dreamflare. ;) A subscription currently costs around per month or per year in a special offer. Additionally, viewers can support their favorite creators directly through crowdfunding with donations of , , or , and in return, they can be mentioned in the credits of the next film.
