Eizo, the Japanese monitor specialist, has unveiled a new 24.1-inch addition to its CG series of high-end monitors. Made from recycled plastic, the Eizo ColorEdge CG2400S offers built-in hardware color calibration, wide color gamut coverage, and features such as pre-installed HDR presets and USB-C connectivity. ;) Eizo ColorEdge CG2400S
The Eizo CG2400S&s wide-gamut IPS panel boasts a 10-bit color depth and a 16:10 WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It supports 99% of the Adobe RGB color space and 98% of the professional DCI-P3 color space. The Eizo CG2400S features an exceptionally high maximum brightness of 410 nits and the highest contrast ratio in the entire CG series with a value of 1800:1, thus also rendering deep blacks. The additional True Black filter compensates for color distortions caused by optical shifts, ensuring that colors retain their depth even when viewed from an angle. The 16-bit 3D look-up table (LUT) ensures more accurate color reproduction by more precisely mapping input values to output values, which is particularly important in professional graphics and video work. ;) Eizo ColorEdge CG2400S Automatic Color CalibrationThe ColorEdge CG2400S is equipped with Eizo&s integrated sensor technology for hardware calibration, which, in conjunction with the ColorNavigator 7 calibration software, enables automated color calibration. According to Eizo, the special homogeneity correction via Digital Uniformity Equalizer ensures precise and homogeneous brightness and color representation across the entire display area. The representation of HDR video content is supported by presets for HLG and PQ curves. InterfacesThe USB-C port can not only supply the image signal to connected notebooks but also supply them with up to 70 watts of power via Power Delivery. It also provides data for an integrated USB hub with 2 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 ports. Further interfaces include both an HDMI and a DisplayPort.
