HLG is optimized for live television transmission and the PQ curve corresponds to the human perception of color and brightness. According to Eizo, the Prominence CG314 bypasses the problems of two widespread HDRsTechnologies, ABL (Auto Brightness Limiter) and local dimming, which can lead to misprints of brightness / color and halos. The Eizo ColorEdge Prominence CG3145 has two HDMI and two DisplayPort inputs and accepts as input via HDMI 10-bit 4: 2: 2 with 50 / 60p or with DisplayPort 10-bit 4: 4: 4 with 50 / 60p.
