Today the first ScreenX cinema in Germany opens in Berlin in the UCI Luxe Cinema at Mercedes Platz with a special version of the adventure comedy "Jumanji: The Next Level". The new ScreenX panorama format uses multi-projection technology to enlarge the traditional frontal screen by two additional screens to the left and right of them - thus drawing viewers even further into the film world.
 ScreenX is a development of the Korean CJ Group, which is already in use in 240 cinemas in Asia, the USA, France and Switzerland. The ScreenX room in the UCI Luxe Mercedes square is the first in Germany. In the future, the new format will also be used for events such as opera, concert and sports broadcasts. ScreenX is also an attempt to counter the competition with something very special through increasingly better equipped home cinemas. Further features of the UCI Luxe cinema are the reclining seats, particularly comfortable leather luxury cinema seats with electrically adjustable foot and head sections and more legroom as well as a cinema hall with iSense including Dolby Atmos and an IMAX hall. ;) ScreenX If you live in Berlin or the surrounding area you can see for yourself if the promises of the larger immersion are true, unfortunately only with "Jumanjii" for the time being - here to current ScreenX program.
