Xiamo, known in this country for its smartphones, has now announced the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor, the first monitor for the European market. The slightly curved (1500R) 34" monitor in 21:9 cinema format has a WQHD resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, a VA panel with 8-bit colour depth, a contrast of 3,000:1, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and covers the sRGB colour space to 121%. As it is primarily aimed at gamers, it also supports variable frame rate display using AMD&s FreeSync Premium. However, the display of HDR is not supported. Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor It&s only averagely bright with 300 nits, but its interface equipment is quite good with two HDMI 2.0b and two display port 1.4 inputs. Unlike most monitors in this price range, it doesn&t have a USB hub, though. It can be adjusted in height, tilted by -5 to 15 degrees and swivelled by up to 45 degrees. A VESA mount is available for wall mounting.
