With firmware 1.2.0, the two mirrorless Hasselblad medium-format cameras X1D II 50C and 907X Special Edition are video-capable - the corresponding icon is already on the mode selection knob of the X1D II 50C. However, "only" 2.7K (2720 x 1530) or FullHD (1920 x 1080) can be recorded with a maximum of 29.97 fps. The color sampling is limited to 4:2:0 8-bit. X1D II 50C Since the sensor has a resolution of 50MP, the question arises whether in video mode the whole sensor area is read out with a subsequent downsampling or whether only a sensor section is used in video mode (i.e. not the whole medium format area). We are still waiting for an answer from the manufacturer. A crop would at least have the advantage that the sensor could be read out faster, with less pronounced rolling shutter effects in the image. X1D II 50C Filming (at least with the X1D II 50C) is only possible with manual settings, and a Focus Peaking function is available for sharpness. The Live View is activated by pressing the shutter button halfway. As expected, the maximum clip length is limited to 29:59min. The housings of both cameras have both a mini-jack connector for an external microphone and a headphone jack. The sound can be levelled in a few fixed steps. The two cameras were introduced by Hasselblad about a year ago, the X1D II 50C with an RRP of 5000 Euro, the 907X Special Edition, consisting of a 907X body as well as a CFV II 50C digital back, for 7,800 Euro. 907X Special Edition more infos at bei www.hasselblad.com deutsche Version dieser Seite: Hasselblad Mittelformat-Kameras X1D II 50C und 907X SE können jetzt auch Video (in 2.7K) |
