For Adobe Premiere Pro, a plugin has been released that allows importing Celtx scripts and synchronizing them with project assets. This makes it possible to create organized bin structures based on the scenes and dialogues of a script, or rather, to have them created automatically. Subsequently, the appropriate clips are assigned to the bins (currently still manually, with AI assistance planned for the future), whereupon editors can assemble the sequences directly from the script text and place clips specifically on the timeline for a quick rough cut.
![]() A "seamless, script-driven editing" sounds basically like an extended text-based editing, which Premiere already masters - only with direct Celtx integration. However, changes or adjustments to the script within Premiere are, as far as we understand, not intended; the main instance of the script is obviously still edited in Celtx. In that case, the version imported into Premiere is updated directly and changes are highlighted. ![]() Rather, it&s about accelerating script-based editing. Those who want to try it out as a new user can download a free, seven-day trial version of the Celtx Screenplay Plugin www.celtx.com/celtx-for-premiere-pro/. What the plugin will cost regularly is currently not communicated. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Celtx-Drehbücher lassen sich jetzt in Adobe Premiere Pro importieren |
