The new version of Premiere Pro CC 2018 (12.1.2) brings numerous bugfixes and some new features in hardware-accelerated encoding and decoding. More specifically, these are:
- Hardware-accelerated H.264 and HEVC decoding on MacBook Pro and iMac Pro machines running Mac OS 10.13.
- Hardware-accelerated HEVC encoding under Windows 10 with Intel Core processors of the seventh generation (or higher) and activated Intel graphics.
- Accelerated decoding of RED camera formats,
- and accelerated decoding of Sony RAW/X-OCN camera formats.
Adobe Premiere Pro CC
New export formats have been integrated for this purpose: (8K export to H.264 and XAVC QFHD Long GOP 4:2:2:2:2). New features include support for Panasonic camera metadata and support for HTC Vive Pro

In After Effects CC, the July 2018 update only brings bug fixes, but no new features. All improved bugs can be seen at here.
