Inogeni&s new USB switcher Toggle offers a simple solution to share USB devices with two PCs. For example, for video conferencing, USB-connected devices such as webcams or microphones can be alternately connected to two different computers, such as an external laptop and the permanently installed desktop PC. This replaces repeated rewiring with a simple switchover. Inogeni Toggle Housed in a rugged metal case, the Inogeni Toggle has three USB 3.0 Type-A inputs for the corresponding devices, which can then be made available to a PC on one of the two USB 3.0 Type-B outputs, depending on the user&s choice. If desired, the toggle also automatically switches to the last connected host, for example to a laptop as soon as it is connected, and then back to the room PC when the laptop is removed again. Inogeni Toggle In- and Outputs In addition to manual and automatic host selection, there is also the option of remote control via RS-232 or GPI - the Toggle is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and can power connected USB 3.0 devices using an external power supply.
