Intel has changed its previous marketing strategy and now offers the top model of its Optane SSD series, which was previously only available for use in data centers, for the first time for power workstation users. ;) Intel Optane SSD P5800X Although your sequential transfer speed of about 7.1 GB/s write and 5.6 GB/read is not quite as fast as the fastest current PCIe 4.0 NVME SSDs, your random read and write speed is extremely high. Equally high are the access times at low queue depths, the write as well as read access latency of 5 µs and the 1,500,000 IOPS random reads and 1,350,000 IOPS random writes respectively.
