Kinefinity presents a universal electronic viewfinder with the new EAGLE SDI EVF. It receives its signal via 3G SDI / HD SDI and is also compatible with cine cameras from other manufacturers.
Kinefinity Eagle SDI EVF
The viewfinder is quite compact and weighs 348 grams. A 0.7″ Micro-OLED 1080p display is installed, which supports a 1920 x 1080 resolution in 10bit with frame rates between 23.97 and 60. According to the manufacturer, the viewfinder image should be displayed without delay (zero-delay). The diopter can be adjusted between -6D and +2D.
Operation is said to be very quiet (even “noise-free”); there is no fan. The power consumption is 2.5W, there is a LEMO 4-pin (7-24V) connection for the power supply. USB-C is also on board, but only for firmware updates.
According to Kinefinity, the EAGLE SDI EVF is ready for use within 2 seconds. It is mounted using a rosette or a Movcam quick-lock mount. There are five buttons on the viewfinder for operation - the following functions are available:

The Kinefinity EAGLE SDI e-Viewfinder costs 1,299 dollars (incl. 40cm D-Tap cable) or 1,399 dollars in a kit with mini mount and an eye cushion. It should be available from August 4, until then Kinefinity is offering a 10% discount for pre-orders.
