Grade for mobile video editing, an additional, easy to connect and transport monitor is very convenient. Lenovo has now introduced a new low-cost model that only requires one cable and is connected to the notebook via USB-C and addressed via the Displayport alternative mode.
The ThinkVision M14 weighs about 600 grams, is about 5cm thick and has an anti-glare 14" Touch IPS display with FullHD resolution, which covers 72% of the NTSC color space. Its brightness of 300 nits is slightly above average. Using a second USB-C port, the monitor (and the connected notebook) can also be charged from an alternative power source.

A low-light mode can be activated at the touch of a button. The display can be tilted and is held by a rear stand, which offers advantages and disadvantages compared to the folding solution of the DUO. The Lenovo ThinkVision M14 may be useful as an additional mobile monitor, but its values do not allow color-accurate editing. It costs 229 Euro and will be available in June.
