MSI has presented an update of its Creator 15 notebook - the 2021 version is upgraded to the latest hardware: thus, it can now be configured with one of the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 GPUs.
The CPU is still an Intel i7-10870H eight-core processor from the Comet Lake H family (a corresponding processor from the latest Tiger Lake generation is not yet available), which can boost its clock up to a maximum of 5.0 GHz via Boost. The working memory can be upgraded to up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, and the mass storage consists of up to two PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSDs. Depending on the configuration, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, RTX 3070 or even a GeForce RTX 3080 with 16GB VRAM can be used.
New MSI Creator 15
The MSI Creator 15's focus on more professional users is revealed in the screen selection: the factory color-calibrated and Calman-certified 15.6" display covers 100% of the AdobeRGB color space and features either a FullHD or UltraHD 4K resolution - optionally with a touch surface.
Interfaces include Thunderbolt 3, three USB 3.2 Gen2, and an HDMI port.
MSI is yet to announce prices for the different versions of the Creator 15 and the release date.
