The MSI TITAN GT83VR is definitely no longer a cheap laptop. For over 6,000 euros, this portable gaming workstation is also better equipped than most cutting computers. With two GeForce GTX 1080s, this portable system also weighs around 5 kg. The TITAN GT83VR is one of the first units to be officially shipped with a Coffee Lake-H Core i7-8850H. This is a mobile 6-core processor for laptops. However, the 8850H is not yet the top tier, as Intel plans to introduce i9-8950HK, an overclockable version for enthusiasts. The Core i7 8850H operates with a base clock rate of 2.60 GHz, which is turbo-compatible up to 4.0 GHz (multi-core) or 4.3 GHz (single-core). It has a 9 MB L3 cache. The rest of the notebook is also lavish. For example, there is an 18.4-inch FHD display (a 4K option is not yet available). External 4K displays can be connected via HDMI, Mini-DP and Thunderbolt 3. A full 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of hard disk space are available. These 2 TB are a combination of a 1 TB 7200 RPM hard disk and two 512 GB NVMe SSDs. The keyboard comes with Cherry MX Brown switches and a touchpad that also functions as a numeric keyboard. We don&t know how you feel, but we find RGB keyboard lighting extremely embarrassing. Nevertheless, if you need to be portable and not too quiet, you will get the latest technology in a relatively compact package. The new model has only been seen on a Greek hardware site, but it is to be expected that it will soon be available at other dealers. more infos at bei www.notebookcheck.net deutsche Version dieser Seite: MSI TITAN GT83VR - Gaming Workstation Monster |
