Magix Vegas Pro 15 is here

Since the takeover by Magix, the promise has been made that Vegas as an independent video editing application will not only continue to exist but will also be actively developed further. With version 15, there are now new features and functions worth mentioning for the first time, although the news for an integer version jump is still limited.

The basic application Vegas Pro Edit (for 399 Euro) now has modern docking window controls and a selectable background tone of the user interface with adjustable color strength of the control panels.

Furthermore, new effects (in the OFX standard) have been added (LUT, Crop and ImageImBild). And last but not least, clips can now be displayed as a freeze frame and event attributes can be selectively inserted.

ACES 1.0 is now to be fully supported in the engine itself (quasi under the hood).

VEGAS Pro receives in addition to VEGAS Pro Edit for 599 Euro NewBlueFX Filters 5 Ultimate and the HitFilm Movie Essentials.

And for 799 Euro you can also get the Boris FX Sapphire Render Unit and the NewBlueFX Titler Pro 5 on top of it.
