Magix Vegas Pro 16 now available - now with HDR, Bezier and Stabilizer/Tracking among others

The release was promised for the end of August and Magix kept their word. The new Vegas Pro 16 is available from today.

The new interface allows a very universal configuration. Virtually every icon can be hidden or made visible individually. In contrast to the past, the entire surface appears somewhat more modern, but was only marginally changed by the basic structure. Among other things there is High-DPI-Scaling for high-resolution desktops.

We always liked the logical structure of Vegas very much, because it is very stringent and logical. You find practically everything where you expect it. The very detailed settings of the program (and the underlying engine) have so far clearly distinguished Vegas from the competition and fortunately have been completely preserved.

Furthermore some functions have been added: Namely Motion Tracking (with automatic features), image stabilization and Bézier masks. There is also HDR support and a new workflow for 360-degree video editing.

On paper, Vegas Pro 16 has become significantly expensive and now costs over 1,200 dollars/euro in the complete suite. However, there are always numerous special offers and upgrade programs that can raise the price of the software to a reasonable level. For example, the smallest version of Vegas Pro EDIT 16 (without many additional plug-in suites and without DVD Architect) will cost 400 euros instead of 800 euros until mid-September. And corresponding updates of previous versions are available from 200 Euro. In addition, you can rent Vegas Pro 16 from approx. 17 Euro/month.
