Manfrotto has announced a limited, all-black special edition tripod to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The new edition is based on the popular 055 and 190 series and, depending on the model, offers a flexible and robust tripod system for both photographers and filmmakers. The three photo kits are equipped with the 496 or XPRO ball head and are compatible with the Arca-Swiss quick-release system, while the two video models integrate a 502 fluid video head and a leveling column. For the first time, Manfrotto is also offering the 055 tripod in a carbon fiber version.

The entry-level model of the 190 series, for example, comes without a center column and with a 496 ball head, making it particularly light and compact. Those who need higher stability can choose the 055 variant made of aluminum with a center column and XPRO ball head. A carbon fiber version of the 055 model – otherwise identical – is even lighter and more stable. In all cases, Manfrotto relies on Arca-Swiss compatibility for smooth accessory changes and robust construction designed for versatile use in the studio or on the go. ;) Manfrotto 055 Video Tripod Fluid Head Video TripodsThe two 055 kits are specifically aimed at videographers and are both equipped with the proven 502 fluid head.
