Nanlite FC-120C RGBW full-color LED spotlight - cost-effective and compact

Nanlite has introduced the FC-120C, a high-performance and affordable LED spotlight offering a variety of control and power options. Weighing only 1.13 kg, its light weight and compact design make it particularly attractive for mobile shoots. Despite its small size, it delivers a high output of 12,850 lux at one meter (at 5600K and using a reflector).

Precise Color Reproduction and Adjustment

The FC-120C boasts a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 95 and a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of 94. Its color temperature range spans from 2700K to 7500K, achieved using Nanlite&s self-developed color mixing technology. Additionally, the ±150 Green/Magenta adjustment range allows adaptation to various light sources.

Lighting Modes

The FC-120C is equipped with four lighting modes:
- CCT mode (Correlated Color Temperature): Ideal for variable color temperatures between warm and cool white light.
- HSI mode (Hue, Saturation, Intensity): Allows precise control of hue, saturation, and intensity, perfect for colorful and creative lighting scenarios.
- RGBW mode: Provides full control over color design and allows selection from a wide color spectrum.
- Effect modes: Include 15 preset special effects, including strobe, police light, and candlelight, which can be individually adjusted.

Control Options

Several options are available for controlling the FC-120C: a small control panel with two rotary knobs, two buttons, and a 1.9" display is integrated into the housing. Alternatively, the FC-120C can also be controlled wirelessly, either via the Nanlink 2.0 app for iOS, iPadOS, and Android or via the optional remote control. For larger setups, DMX control is supported, allowing the spotlight to be integrated into complex lighting setups.

Multiple Power Supply Options

Several options are also available for power supply: the FC-120C can be operated with mains power, a V-Mount battery (14.4–26V), or a PD adapter (e.g., using a power bank).

Compatibility and Accessories

The FC-120C uses Nanlite&s own FM-Mount, making it compatible with a range of Nanlite light shapers and accessories. The included Bowens-Mount adapter further expands compatibility, allowing the use of accessories from other manufacturers.

Quiet and Efficient

The FC-120C features adjustable cooling with four fan modes to find a balance between noise and performance depending on the recording situation:
- Smart mode: Automatic adjustment of power and fan speed.
- Full Speed mode: Maximum power at higher fan speed.
- Low Speed mode: Reduced fan noise at half power.
- Fan-Off mode: Silent operation at 12% of maximum power.

The Nanlite FC-120C costs 439 Euros and will be shipped from the beginning of February.
