Nanlite PavoSlim 240CL - Compact RGBWW LED panel with 21,000 lux

Nanlite presented the new PavoSlim 240CL at IBC 2024, a 4x1 RGBWW LED panel with a brightness of up to 21,030 lux at 5,600 K at a distance of one meter and a nominal power of 260 W. The PavoSlim 240CL, made of aluminum, features a slim design—only 2.35 cm thick—while being robust and relatively lightweight, weighing just 3.62 kg. Nanlite recommends it for shoots in tight spaces.

Features

The color temperature of the PavoSlim 240CL is adjustable from 2,700 to 7,500 K, and its light intensity can be adjusted from 100% to 0% in 1% increments.

It offers 15 lighting effects, such as HUE loop, CCT loop, INT loop, flash, pulse, storm, police car, TV, paparazzi, candle/fire, disco, lightbulb, fireworks, explosion, and welding. The color rendering index (CRI) averages 96, and the TLCI value is 97. The TM-30 values for color fidelity (Rf) and color saturation (Rg) are 94 and 100, respectively. The SSI value (color accuracy) is 84 at 3200K and 74 at 5600K.

Control Options

As usual, Nanlite offers several control options: The PavoSlim 240CL can be operated using the integrated 2" display and its two buttons and two dials, as well as via the included remote control, Bluetooth using the Nanlink app (iOS, Android), DMX/RDM, or LumenRadio CRMX. The PavoSlim 240CL can be powered either via mains power or an optional V-mount battery.

Like other models in Nanlite&s PavoSlim series, the PavoSlim 240CL comes with a pre-installed pop-up softbox. The softbox is ready for use as soon as the Velcro fasteners are removed. Also included is an eggcrate grid, which can be easily attached to the softbox using an elastic band.

The panel uses a fanless cooling system, making it suitable for use on sets where noise needs to be minimized, such as film productions with sound recording. Two PavoSlim 240CL panels can be combined into a 4x2 or even a 4x4 configuration, significantly expanding the light coverage.
