Nanlux has officially unveiled the Evoke 5000B Bi-Color LED spotlight, initially announced last autumn, including full specifications. With a high light output of 5000 watts, it nearly matches the output of 9kW HMI or 24kW tungsten spotlights.

New Nebula B4 Light Engine
The Evoke 5000B features the new Nebula B4 light engine. Besides high white light efficiency, it offers a color temperature range of 2700 K–6500 K and a ±80 green/magenta adjustment across the entire Kelvin range. This is achieved by combining 4 types of white light chips. The Nebula B4 light engine is said to surpass conventional full-color engines by 30% in white light emission efficiency at the same power consumption.
With a beam angle of 95°, large areas can be illuminated without additional accessories, achieving a sun-like lighting effect. The spotlight also features smooth dimming, especially from 0.0% to 0.1% brightness for seamless fade-in and fade-out lighting. Through newly developed hardware combined with optimized mixing algorithms, it achieves fully linear dimming performance.

Design and Construction
The Evoke 5000B integrates the lamp head, control unit, and power supply into one device to reduce overall weight and size. Made of a magnesium alloy, the spotlight weighs 46 kg (with yoke).
Balancing rails allow for flexible head positioning, enabling control of the center of gravity when mounting various accessories. The motorized mounting bracket features a disc brake for secure angle locking and precise positioning with an angle indicator. The Evoke 5000B&s NL mount is equipped with the new PosiTight system, offering double security and ensuring a firmer connection between the device and accessories.

The Evoke 5000B features a new cooling system and is also dust and weatherproof according to IP66. It can be operated directly on the housing via a small display with three knobs, four buttons, and a new user interface, as well as via a wired controller and, of course, common remote control methods (app, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net/sACN).
The Evoke 5000B will be compatible with the accessories of the existing Evoke 2400B. Additionally, a new, larger motorized Fresnel lens tailored to the Evoke 5000B will be introduced. It features a 45 cm lens with a zoom range of 16°–50°.

Pricing and Availability
The NANLUX Evoke 5000B Standard Kit costs €17,619 including VAT, the flight case costs €18,449. The motorized Fresnel attachment NANLUX FL-45E costs €3,069. Available from March 2025.
