New Canon DSLRs without 4K EOS 6D Mk2 and EOS 200D

In the geruechtekche the 4K-Specs went back and forth and lastly it was already unofficially as sure: Both the today presented EOS 6D Mk2 and the 200D have NO internal 4K-Videofunktion. The 6D Mark II has only one possibility to store 4K Timlapse sequences as MJPEG clips. Otherwise, FullHD with a maximum of 60fps remains with both cameras the high-resolution video mode, which is written off in 8 bits without log option as H.264 current. PIC1 Exciting would perhaps still be for some users, because the sensor readout in the video mode at least without linekipping takes place. But this may only reveal first practice recordings after market launch in July. Otherwise, Canon is still next to the DUAL Pixel Autofokus also the possibility of the external microphone connection with the 6D as a specialVideofeature. In addition, the EOS 6D Mark II has a "camera-friendly 5-axis film image stabilizer", which, however, is presumably only a use of the excess sensor edge pixels. So Canon obviously does not feel compelled by the competition, which in the meantime moveable sensors, 4K video and cinematic picture profiles almost in every upscale model. One wonders irresistibly whether this is the same company, which announced a few weeks ago a washable, turn-ready RAW camera under 9,000 euros. In any case, the 200D and the new 6D have now become not particularly exciting for videofilmers or hybrid users. And anyone who now looks at Magic Lantern needs much hope and at least a very long breath. For a stable support of the here
