### Better Video Transmission via O4

The N3 Goggles automatically select the optimal frequency band between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz depending on the environment and are the first of DJI&s FPV goggles to use the current (Ocusync) O4 radio transmission system. This system transmits video at 1080p60 and offers several advantages over previous versions, such as better range, image quality, latency, and interference resistance. The range is now up to 13 km, latency is 31 ms, and the video bitrate important for image quality has been increased to 60 Mbps. With O4, the N3 Goggles can also work with other DJI drones such as the new DJI Air 3S, DJI Air 3, and DJI Mini 4 Pro.

With the help of the new RC Motion R3 controller, an FPV drone like the DJI Neo or Avata 2 can be intuitively controlled from the wrist or—if head tracking is enabled—also by head movements, allowing for acrobatic flight maneuvers such as 360° flips and rolls, and 180° yaw drifts.

### A Wide Display Instead of Two Small Ones

But where has DJI cut costs to offer the N3 Goggles so much cheaper than previous versions, which have cost at least €459 (Goggles Integra) so far? The answer is: the display, which in the N3 Goggles now consists of a single ultra-wide 1080p screen with a field of view of 54° and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and no longer two 1080p Micro-OLED displays with 100 Hz.

The battery—which provides power for approximately 2.7 hours of flight—is now integrated into the back of the N3 Goggles& headband to balance the weight and ensure a lightweight, comfortable fit. An advantage of the new spacious interior design is that it allows people who wear glasses to keep them on, thereby avoiding the cumbersome adjustment of diopters.

### Better Visibility

Practical is the new dehumidification function, which removes condensation on the goggles caused by changing temperatures and high humidity—condensation that obscures visibility—using an internal fan. Another innovation is the ability to let others participate live in the flight: when a smartphone is connected to the goggles via USB-C, it can also display the live image through the DJI Fly app.

The N3 Goggles also include several improvements intended to make operating the DJI Goggles N3 easier. For example, an augmented reality (AR) cursor can now be used when the goggles are paired with the DJI RC Motion 3 to activate functions and adjust camera settings on the goggles& screen before the aircraft takes off or while it is braking or hovering. With a microSD card, the N3 Goggles can also be used as a pure viewing device for panoramic videos.

### Price and Availability

The DJI N3 Goggles are available as part of the DJI Neo Motion Fly More Combo, which includes the DJI Neo, N3 Goggles, RC Motion 3, three batteries, and a charging station, now available for €529. The DJI N3 Goggles alone will be available starting at the end of November for €269.
