Like Dell, HP has now introduced new entry-level workstations - the new HP Z2 Mini, HP Z2 Small Form Factor, HP Z2 Tower and HP EliteDesk 800 Workstation Edition models are targeted at professional users and can be configured to meet their needs - in the maximum configuration level, for example with a 6 core Xeon CPU and an Nvidia P6000 GPU with 16 GB RAM.
The HP Z2 Mini G4 Workstation features an exceptionally small housing (with a total volume of only 2.7 litres) - it can be mounted on the back of a monitor, for example, to save space. Compared to the previous generation HP Z2 Mini (G3), the new model delivers twice the graphics performance via Nvidia Quadro P6000 (with 16 GB RAM) GPUs or AMD Radeon Pro WX4150-GPU in maximum configuration.

The CPU power ranges from a 2-core Intel Pentium G5400 processor via Intel Core i3, i5 and -i7 CPUs to a 6-core Xeon - the maximum memory expansion is limited to 32 GB (ECC) RAM. The HP Z2 Mini G4 Workstation has two internal 3.5" slots and will be available in Germany starting in August at a price of 759.
If you don't depend on the small design - whether for aesthetic or practical reasons - the next two versions of the Z2 G4 Workstation will be better for you due to its expandability. The HP Z2 Small Form Factor (SFF) and Tower G4 workstations also deliver significantly more computing power than the previous generation.
According to HP, the six-core CPU makes the HP Z2 SFF the most powerful workstation in the compact SFF format - the graphics power comes from an Nvidia Quadro P5000 The HP Z2 SFF G4 has four PCIe and two M.2 slots despite its small format. The HP Z2 Small Form Factor Workstation will be available in Germany starting in August at a price of 739.

The HP Z2 Tower Workstation even offers space for two more 3.5" drives and two M.2 SSDs and can be equipped with a high-end Nvidia Quadro P5000 or optionally an AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100 - it will be available in Germany from August at a price of around 770.
