The XEEN CF cine lens series has been extended by two more fixed focal lengths, a 16mm T2.6 and a 35mm T1.5, making the lens series lightweight and compact thanks to the use of carbon fibre in the lens barrel, and now comprises five focal lengths (24, 50 and 85mm released in autumn), all with a uniform front diameter of 95mm, and gear rims for follow focus and aperture in the same position. However, while the first three lenses all have the same overall length of 90.5mm, the new additions are slightly shorter or longer. The XEEN CF Cinema 16mm T2.6 is the shortest lens with 82.3mm. It weighs 1,010 grams with Canon EF Mount. The closest focusing distance is 30 cm. The XEEN CF Cinema 35mm T1.5 measures 113.7 mm and weighs 1,300g. As with the other XEEN CFs, the rotation angle of the 11-lamella aperture is 40°, while the focus path is 200°. The luminescent markings for aperture (in one-third steps) and sharpness are located on both sides of the housing. According to Samyang, a multilayer coating (X-Coating) should efficiently eliminate all kinds of imaging errors. The 8K-capable lenses are available with Canon EF Mount, Sony E Mount and ARRI PL Mount and cost 2,299 Euro each. more infos at bei www.foto-walser.de deutsche Version dieser Seite: Neue Cine-Objektive in der Samyang XEEN CF Reihe - 16mm T2,6 und 35mm T1,5 |
