DJI has released a firmware update for its recently introduced one-handed gimbals
 DJI RS2 One-handed Gimbal Furthermore there was a small bugfix update for the old  Ronin 2 and the DJI Force Pro controller. New features for the DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 The following new features and improvements by RS 2 firmware: v01.02.00.30 and RSC 2 firmware v01.01.00.10 affect both models: - Added video recording, camera settings, autofocus and focus support for Sony A7S III and A7C cameras with supported Sony E-Mount lenses via a multi-camera control cable (USB-C) - Added photo capture, video capture, camera settings, autofocus and focus support for Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II cameras with supported Nikkor lenses using a multi-camera control cable (USB-C) - Added support for photo capture, video capture, camera settings, autofocus and focusing for Nikon D500 cameras with supported Nikkor lenses using a multi-camera control cable (Micro-USB) - Added support for photo capture, video capture, camera settings, autofocus and focusing for Panasonic Lumix S5 cameras with supported L-mount lens using a multi-camera control cable (USB-C) - Added support for video recording, camera settings, autofocus and focusing for Panasonic Lumix BGH1 cameras with supported Micro 4/3 mount lenses using a multi-camera control cable (USB-C) - Added aperture settings for Olympus E-M1 II cameras - Added the ability to automatically calibrate and delete endpoints for the focus motor. - Optimized power management for the DJI RavenEye Image Transmission System, increasing the runtime of both the transmission system and the gimbal. - Optimized connection experience for the DJI RavenEye Image Transmission System by removing the default password 12345678. After connecting via the system&s Wi-Fi, a password must be set in the DJI Ronin app. The password must be 8 characters long and consist of letters and numbers. - Added the possibility to access the camera settings for the DJI RavenEye Image Transmission System by connecting the camera with a camera control cable. - Problems fixed: Nikon Z5, D780 and D5 cameras could not display the live view on a camera, mobile device or gimbal after connecting to RavenEye. - Issue resolved: When using the Olympus E-M1 II, the camera rebooted repeatedly and could not take pictures in AF mode after the control cable was hot-plugged. - Fixed problem: When using the Sigma FP camera, pressing and holding the camera control button did not capture photos in AF mode. - Occasional problem fixed: When using the Panasonic GH5, GH5S, S1, S1H, and G9, the gimbal could not control the camera after the camera control cable was hot-plugged. - Occasional problem solved: When used with the BMPCC 4K camera, the gimbal axes did not stabilize if the frame rate was changed during shooting.  DJI RS2and RSC2 one-handed gimbals New features for the DJI RS 2 - Added support for the DJI Ronin 3D focus system when DJI RS 2 is used with the DJI Ronin focus motor, which enables autofocus for manual lenses. - Dolly zoom added. To use this feature, the DJI RS 2 must be used with the DJI Ronin Focus Motor. The distance and duration from point A to B can be adjusted on the focus motor. - Added video recording and zoom for Sony PXW-Z90V and FDR-AX100E cameras via multi-camera control cable (Multi-USB). - Added support for photo capture, video capture, camera settings, autofocus and focusing for Canon EOS-1D X cameras with supported EF mount lenses using the multi-camera control cable (mini-USB). - Added video recording for Canon EOS C70 cameras using the multi-camera control cable (USB-C) - Added the ability to rotate the screen. - Added the ability to trigger ActiveTrack by dragging a box around the object on the touch screen. - Optimized touch screen response and added the ability to disable tilt axis following when ActiveTrack is enabled. After disabling tilt axis tracking, the tilt axis remains at the current angle and does not follow the subject. - Added gimbal control, photo capture, video capture, parameter settings, recenter and self-timer mode switch for the Futaba S.BUS remote control (tested with a Futaba T14SG and a Futaba R7008SB receiver) - Optimized touchscreen user interface.
